IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance Company Limited (IFFCO-TOKIO GIC) has appointed Alpana Singh as its Whole-Time Director – Marketing, effective from 1 July 2026. Based at the company's headquarters in Gurugram, she will be responsible for leading the insurer's marketing strategy, strengthening its market positioning and advancing customer engagement initiatives as part of its next phase of growth.
In her new role, Singh will oversee initiatives aimed at expanding the company's brand presence while enhancing customer experience across its operations. The insurer stated that the appointment reflects its continued focus on growth, innovation and customer-centric business practices.
Before joining IFFCO-TOKIO, Singh held several senior leadership positions at Bajaj General Insurance, formerly known as Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. During her tenure, she led business growth initiatives, strengthened strategic partnerships, expanded the bancassurance business and contributed to the company's brand development and market presence.
The company said Singh brings extensive leadership experience gained from working across both public sector and private insurance organisations. Her professional background includes expertise in sales, negotiations, bancassurance, customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing, with experience at board level.
Commenting on the appointment, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Subrata Mondal said the company was entering its next phase of growth, during which the marketing function would play an increasingly important role in strengthening IFFCO-TOKIO's market position. He added that Singh's understanding of global marketing trends would support the company's future growth plans.
Acknowledging her appointment, Singh said she considered it both an honour and a significant responsibility to lead the marketing function at IFFCO-TOKIO. She noted that the company has an extensive presence across India and a mission of serving customers in both urban centres and rural communities, including farmers, and said she looked forward to contributing to that objective.
IFFCO-TOKIO said Singh's appointment is expected to support its ongoing efforts to strengthen brand visibility, deepen customer engagement and reinforce its position within India's general insurance sector as the company continues to expand its operations.
