Synopsis

Embassy Office Parks REIT has expanded its hospitality portfolio with the opening of a 211-room Hilton Garden Inn at Embassy TechVillage on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road. The hotel has been developed to cater to the growing accommodation needs of business travellers visiting the integrated office park. The addition strengthens Embassy REIT's hospitality presence while also expanding Hilton's footprint in Bengaluru. Embassy REIT continues to diversify its portfolio beyond office assets with operational hotels, upcoming hospitality projects and renewable energy infrastructure across key commercial markets in India.

Embassy Office Parks REIT has opened a 211-room Hilton Garden Inn at its integrated business park, Embassy TechVillage, located on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road. The new hotel has been developed to meet the rising demand for accommodation from business travellers, corporate clients and visitors to the office campus.
The company informed stock exchanges earlier this week that the Hilton Garden Inn has commenced operations within Embassy TechVillage, one of its largest office parks. The project is expected to strengthen the business park's integrated ecosystem by offering on-site hospitality services for occupiers and guests.
Embassy Office Parks REIT is India's first listed Real Estate Investment Trust and owns and operates a portfolio of more than 50 million sq ft of office space across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, the National Capital Region (NCR) and Chennai. Its portfolio includes 14 office assets, four operational business hotels, three hotels under development and a 100 MW solar park that supplies renewable energy to tenants.
The newly opened property also marks another expansion for Hilton in Bengaluru, taking the global hospitality company's portfolio in the city to 13 properties. Bengaluru has remained one of Hilton's key growth markets in India, supported by the city's strong technology, business and corporate travel demand.
Hilton, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), operates a global portfolio of 28 brands with more than 9,200 properties and over 1.3 million rooms across 144 countries and territories. The company has been steadily expanding its presence in India through partnerships with leading real estate developers and hotel owners.
Embassy REIT has also been strengthening its mixed-use developments by combining office spaces with hospitality, retail and sustainability-focused infrastructure. The addition of the Hilton Garden Inn aligns with this strategy by enhancing amenities within its commercial campuses while catering to the growing needs of corporate occupiers.
