Coral Beach Resort Sharjah has received multiple honours at the Hozpitality Group's Middle East Chef Excellence Awards, F&B Excellence Awards and Leaders Powerlist 2026. The resort's beachfront dining venue, Casa Samak Seafood Restaurant, was recognised as the Best Sunset Spot of the Year, acknowledging its seaside location, seafood offerings and dining experience overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Several members of the resort's culinary and food and beverage teams also received individual accolades across leadership and service categories. The awards highlight the resort's hospitality and dining operations, recognising both its signature restaurant and the contributions of its staff.
Coral Beach Resort Sharjah has been recognised at the Hozpitality Group's Middle East Chef Excellence Awards, F&B Excellence Awards and Leaders Powerlist 2026, with its signature beachfront venue, Casa Samak Seafood Restaurant, receiving the Best Sunset Spot of the Year award. Announced in the past week, the recognition acknowledges the restaurant's coastal setting, dining experience and hospitality offerings along the Arabian Gulf.
Located on the shoreline in Sharjah, Casa Samak Seafood Restaurant is known for serving fresh seafood in a beachfront setting overlooking the Arabian Gulf. According to the organisers, the award recognises the restaurant's combination of coastal ambience, hospitality and panoramic sunset views that have made it a popular dining destination for residents and visitors.
In addition to the restaurant's recognition, several members of Coral Beach Resort Sharjah's culinary and food and beverage teams received individual honours across leadership and operational categories at the awards.
Michael Fernandes was included in the F&B Leader Powerlist, while Abdo Badra was recognised in the Chef Leader Powerlist. Tsering Tamang received the Promising Chef of the Year (Judges' Choice) award, Mahesh Chathuranga Ranathunga was named Barista of the Year, and Chet Raj Chaudhary received the Banquet Champion of the Year (Judges' Choice) recognition.
Commenting on the achievement, Iftikhar Hamdani, Area General Manager of Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, said the awards reflected the dedication and commitment of the resort's team. He stated that Casa Samak had consistently offered guests a distinctive dining experience and that receiving the Best Sunset Spot of the Year award reinforced the resort's focus on delivering memorable culinary experiences in its beachfront setting.
