Synopsis

KSH Integrated Logistics Pvt. Ltd. has entered the Eastern India market with the launch of a 60,000 sq. ft. Grade-A warehousing facility in Kolkata. The multi-client warehouse has been developed to support businesses operating across Eastern and North-Eastern India, particularly in sectors such as FMCG, FMCD and fintech. The facility offers warehousing, transportation and value-added logistics services, supported by technology-driven inventory and transportation management systems. KSH said the warehouse is expected to create more than 100 direct and indirect employment opportunities while strengthening supply chain infrastructure in the region. The launch marks the company's first logistics facility in Eastern India and forms part of its broader strategy to expand its national warehousing and distribution network.

KSH Integrated Logistics Pvt. Ltd. has launched its first warehousing facility in Eastern India with the commissioning of a 60,000 sq. ft. Grade-A logistics park in Kolkata. Announced on June 18, the multi-client warehouse has been developed to cater to businesses expanding across Eastern and North-Eastern India and will provide integrated warehousing, distribution and supply chain services from a strategically located logistics hub.
The company said the facility has been designed to support growing trade volumes and changing consumption patterns across the region, which has emerged as an increasingly important logistics and distribution corridor. The warehouse is intended to provide businesses with scalable storage and fulfilment capabilities without requiring significant investment in dedicated infrastructure.
The Kolkata facility will cater to a range of industries, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fast-moving consumer durables (FMCD) and fintech. The company stated that the project combines Grade-A warehousing infrastructure with operational systems aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and flexibility for occupiers.
Vinay Patil, Chief Executive Officer of KSH Integrated Logistics Pvt. Ltd., said Kolkata serves as an important gateway to Eastern and North-Eastern India and that businesses increasingly require logistics partners capable of offering both scale and operational flexibility. He noted that the new facility forms part of the company's objective of creating a connected logistics network across the country.
In addition to storage operations, the warehouse will offer a range of value-added services, including pre-packing, kitting, MRP stickering and customised supply chain solutions. The company said these services are intended to support businesses seeking integrated logistics operations under a single platform.
The facility will also incorporate electric vehicles for last-mile delivery operations. According to the company, the move forms part of its strategy to introduce more sustainable logistics practices while supporting efficient urban and regional distribution networks.
From an operational standpoint, the warehouse has been equipped with fire hydrants, sprinkler systems and other safety infrastructure to comply with applicable fire safety requirements. The development is also supported by a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS), enabling real-time inventory monitoring, fulfilment management and transportation planning.
KSH said the project is expected to generate more than 100 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the region. The company added that the facility will contribute to the development of organised logistics infrastructure in Eastern India while supporting local economic activity.
The Kolkata warehouse expands KSH's national logistics footprint and strengthens its presence across key industrial and consumption centres. The company said it continues to evaluate additional opportunities to expand its warehousing and supply chain network as demand for organised logistics infrastructure grows across India.
