Synopsis

Trinity Business Park has announced the launch of a 3 million sq. ft. integrated commercial development in Amingaon, North Guwahati, spanning 16 acres. The project will combine retail, office, hospitality and exhibition infrastructure within a single campus and is aimed at businesses seeking organised commercial space in Northeast India. The development has already attracted interest from trade bodies, including members of the Assam Textile Merchants' Association, who have committed retail space within the project. Designed to cater to corporate enterprises, distributors, manufacturers, professional services firms and emerging businesses, the project will include large-format showrooms, office spaces, exhibition facilities and hospitality components. Construction is progressing, with the initial phases expected to become operational from 2027 onwards.

Trinity Business Park has launched a 16-acre integrated commercial development in Amingaon, North Guwahati, with more than 3 million sq. ft. of planned built-up space. Announced on June 18, the project will bring together retail, office, hospitality and exhibition facilities within a single campus, targeting businesses looking to establish or expand operations in Northeast India.
The development is being positioned as a commercial hub for multinational corporations, large technology companies and Indian enterprises seeking a structured base outside traditional metropolitan markets. The launch comes amid growing commercial activity in Guwahati, which has witnessed increasing demand for organised business infrastructure driven by regional trade, consumption growth and ongoing infrastructure development.
According to the developer, the project has already attracted interest from trade associations and business groups operating in the region. Members of the Assam Textile Merchants' Association have committed significant retail space within the development, while discussions are underway with associations representing several other sectors.
Hemant Agarwal, Partner, Trinity Business Park, stated that the project was conceived as one of the first large-scale integrated commercial developments of its kind in Northeast India and was intended to provide organised infrastructure for businesses operating in the region. He said the focus was on enabling enterprises to expand and operate efficiently within a structured commercial environment.
The project has been designed with infrastructure intended to support large-scale commercial operations. Planned facilities include 16-foot-high showrooms, 12-foot-high office spaces, 18 goods elevators and 25 passenger elevators. The development will also provide parking capacity for more than 3,000 vehicles.
In addition to commercial facilities, the campus will feature a 22,000 sq. ft. food court, a central atrium, outdoor dining areas, landscaped open spaces, seating zones, designated areas for meetings and informal interactions, an artistic performance deck and an amphitheatre. The location in North Guwahati is expected to provide connectivity to key residential, commercial and transport hubs across the city.
The development is designed to accommodate a broad mix of occupiers, including corporate offices, distributors, manufacturers, showroom-led businesses and professional services firms. Target sectors include consumer goods, furniture, home décor, building materials, electrical products, industrial goods and construction-related businesses. The project is also expected to cater to healthcare professionals, educational institutions, legal and financial service providers, startups and emerging enterprises.
Ravi Agarwal, Partner, Trinity Business Park, said that businesses were increasingly looking beyond traditional metropolitan markets for expansion opportunities and that cities such as Guwahati were emerging as important economic gateways. He noted that the project had been planned to support business operations through organised commercial infrastructure and facilities designed for long-term occupier requirements.
The development is also being planned as a venue for trade fairs, exhibitions, dealer meetings, product showcases and business networking events. Construction is currently underway, with the first phases of the project expected to become operational from 2027 onwards.
