US-based technology company Adobe has opened a new office campus in Noida, expanding its India footprint with its seventh office in the country. Located in Sector 129, the facility will accommodate more than 700 employees across engineering and customer-focused functions. The expansion comes as Adobe increases investments linked to artificial intelligence, digital products and enterprise technologies in India, which remains the company’s largest workforce base outside the United States. Adobe stated that its India operations, established in 1997 as an engineering research and development centre, now employ more than 8,000 people and contribute over one-third of its global innovation output. The office launch follows recent strategic initiatives by the company, including partnerships and educational access programmes aimed at expanding adoption of AI-powered creative and document management tools across the Indian market.
Global technology company Adobe has opened a new office campus in Noida, expanding its operational footprint in India with what becomes the company’s seventh office location in the country. The facility, located in Sector 129, will accommodate more than 700 employees across engineering and customer-facing functions.
The company announced the development on Friday, stating that the expansion aligns with its broader strategy of strengthening artificial intelligence-led innovation and product development operations in India. Adobe’s India business currently represents its largest employee base outside the United States.
Abhigyan Modi, Country Manager of Adobe India and Senior Vice President for Document Cloud, stated that artificial intelligence and agentic technologies are reshaping the global technology ecosystem and indicated that the company’s India teams continue to play a significant role in advancing Adobe’s AI-driven initiatives. He added that the opening of the new Noida office marks an important step in expanding innovation capabilities from India.
Adobe began operations in India in 1997 through an engineering research and development centre. Since then, the company has expanded its workforce in the country to more than 8,000 employees. According to the company, teams based in India contribute to over one-third of Adobe’s global innovation activity across technology, engineering and product development functions.
The new office launch follows a series of strategic investments and partnerships announced by the company in the Indian market over recent months. Earlier this year, Adobe introduced an initiative aimed at providing students across accredited educational institutions in India with free access to several AI-powered digital tools, including Adobe Firefly, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat.
The company also recently entered into a partnership with Bharti Airtel to provide access to Adobe Express Premium for Airtel’s user base across India. The initiative is intended to expand adoption of AI-enabled creative and document tools among consumers and small businesses.
The Noida expansion reflects continued demand for Grade A commercial office infrastructure across key business districts in the National Capital Region, particularly from technology and global capability centre occupiers. Corporate expansions by multinational technology firms have remained a significant driver of office leasing activity in Noida, Gurugram and Bengaluru as companies continue to strengthen engineering, product development and digital operations in India.
