IHG to debut Vignette Collection in India with luxury hotel in Panchkula

Synopsis

IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Hanu Overseas to bring its luxury and lifestyle brand, Vignette Collection, to India. The 145-room hotel will open in Panchkula, Haryana, in early 2026, marking a key step in IHG's premium portfolio expansion. Separately, Myntra has appointed Ritesh Mishra as Senior Vice President and Head of Category and Revenue. Reporting to CEO Nandita Sinha, he will lead category and revenue strategy and join the senior leadership team. With over 25 years of experience, including his previous role at Lifestyle India, Mishra's appointment is aimed at strengthening brand partnerships and enhancing consumer experiences across fashion, beauty and lifestyle categories.

IHG Hotels and Resorts has announced it has signed a management agreement with Hanu Overseas to introduce its luxury and lifestyle brand, Vignette Collection, in India. The 145-room Vignette Collection hotel will be located in Panchkula, Haryana, and is expected to open in early 2026. According to IHG, the launch represents a key milestone in the expansion of its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in the Indian market.


Commenting on the development, Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels and Resorts, said Panchkula's strong year-round demand and economic vitality make it an ideal destination for the brand's India debut. He added that the company aims to elevate the local hospitality landscape by offering a distinctive luxury experience.

In a separate announcement, Myntra said it has appointed Ritesh Mishra as Senior Vice President and Head of Category and Revenue with immediate effect. Mishra will report to Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha and will lead the company's category and revenue strategy while joining its senior leadership team. Mishra brings over 25 years of experience and was previously Deputy CEO at Lifestyle India Pvt Ltd, part of the Landmark Group. Myntra said his appointment will help sharpen its value proposition, strengthen brand partnerships, and enhance consumer experiences across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle segments.
