A spokesperson for the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, Ewa Zlotnicka, told a local broadcaster that the flights were routine and there was no risk to Polish airspace. She did not specify the types of aircraft involved in these operations.
The move comes amid Poland's ongoing efforts to ensure airspace security while maintaining normal airport activities. Both airports have previously coordinated with military authorities to temporarily halt civilian flights for security and training exercises, reflecting a standard practice rather than an emergency.
The authorities have confirmed that all scheduled commercial services at Rzeszow and Lublin airports are now operating as planned, and passengers can expect normal airport services.
