Andhra Pradesh CM Shri Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated an MSME park in Kanigiri and virtually launched and laid the foundation for 50 more parks across 17 districts. The Maharashtra government has formed a high-level committee to bring all metro rail operations in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) under one unified authority. Led by Sanjay Mukherjee, Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA, the panel will draft a plan for merging multiple metro agencies, assess asset transfer and valuation, and study models such as Transport for London and Singapore's Land Transport Authority. A 45-day lane-closure programme has begun on the stretch of New Rohtak Road between Kamal T-Point and Zakhira Flyover (towards Punjabi Bagh) as the Delhi Jal Board carries out drainage maintenance in the Anand Parbat area. A high-powered committee in Kerala has approved infrastructure projects amounting to INR 1,441 crore under NABARD's Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) tranche 31. The Kerala government has given administrative approval for developing a customs warehouse at Azhikkal Port in Kannur, signalling renewed momentum for the port's expansion in the north Malabar region. Security was tightened this week at railway stations across the Delhi-National Capital Region after a car explosion near the Red Fort metro area killed eight people and injured several others. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Government Railway Police (GRP), working with the Northern Railway, reviewed and strengthened arrangements at major stations such as New Delhi, Old Delhi, Anand Vihar, Hazrat Nizamuddin and Ghaziabad. Ahmedabad's Kalupur railway station is being redeveloped under the Indian Railways' Amrit Bharat Station Scheme to enhance capacity and passenger experience. The project, led by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), will add three new platforms, raising the total to 13, and include a 16-storey complex with lounges, food courts, and commercial spaces. Simultaneously, it cleared change of land use for 40.23 hectares under its land pooling policy. In the Narela sub-city, the authority sanctioned a multi-sports stadium on 30.35?hectares and an education?hub campus on 4.33 hectares. The Noida International Airport (Jewar) completed its second and final mandatory calibration flight earlier this week, following the initial test on October 31. An aircraft landed from the west-end of the strip to verify the Instrument Landing System (ILS) 28, whereas the earlier test covered ILS 10 from the east side. These calibration flights check navigation, communication and surveillance systems before an aerodrome licence is granted.
