India's Grade A industrial and warehousing sector recorded a 33% year-on-year increase in demand during the first half of 2025, with leasing activity reaching approximately 20 million sq ft across the top eight cities. Delhi NCR and Chennai accounted for nearly half of this demand, driven largely by 3PL, engineering, and e-commerce firms. Major deals exceeding 200,000 sq ft constituted more than half of the leasing activity, with new supply almost matching demand at 19 million sq ft. KSH Infra is set to invest INR 550 crore in a new 60-acre industrial and logistics park in Tamil Nadu's Sriperumbudur-Oragadam corridor. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has initiated the auction process for a 23.2-acre land parcel in Rohini's Sector 36 to develop the city's first large-scale warehousing and logistics hub. Divided into two plots Plot A (10.43 acres) and Plot B (12.73 acres) the site will be leased for 33 years at an annual license fee of INR 17.4 crore. The project will be executed under a public-private model, with the licensee responsible for construction, operation, and maintenance within a 24-month period.
