Allcargo Logistics has extended its domestic distribution network to cover 100 percent of India's PIN codes with its new Allcargo Extended Reach (AER) platform. The initiative replaces the earlier Extra Serviceable Stations model and follows the company's corporate restructuring that consolidated express distribution and consultative logistics under a single domestic supply chain business. The mapped network has increased from around 21,000 to over 32,000 PIN codes, while directly serviceable PIN codes through distribution centres have more than doubled to over 10,000, strengthening access to dependable logistics for businesses in urban and remote regions.Read more

Delhivery has expanded its instant intra-city delivery service to Mumbai and Hyderabad, adding to its existing presence in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. The service, available through the Delhivery Direct app, enables users to book local pickups within around 15 minutes and select vehicles based on shipment size. JSW Infrastructure, through JSW Port Logistics, will acquire three rail logistics firms from JSW Shipping & Logistics for INR 1,212 crore. The deal provides immediate access to 21 operational rakes, long-term freight contracts with major steel clients, and key Indian Railways licences. The business is projected to generate an annualised EBITDA of INR 150 crore by FY27. Welspun One has announced plans to develop a Grade-A logistics park in Pune's Talegaon MIDC Phase-IV, spread across roughly 1.2 million sq ft, supported by an investment of INR 550 crore. The company recently received a 46-acre land parcel for this project, which will cater to sectors such as 3PL, e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, engineering, and manufacturing. Pune's warehouse leasing activity has grown by about 10% compared to last year, with the Talegaon-Chakan region accounting for nearly 70% of the city's demand. The Greater Noida Authority has finalised alignments for two major projects-the Multimodal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Bodaki and the Multimodal Logistics Hub (MMLH) at Dadri-aimed at strengthening regional mobility and freight connectivity. The 117-hectare MMTH will integrate metro, rail and bus terminals, linked by a 1.8 km elevated metro line from the Greater Noida Depot. It will serve long-distance trains to eastern India and provide commercial and transport infrastructure across two planned zones. The 311-hectare MMLH will directly connect to the Dedicated Freight Corridor via a 3 km rail spur, enabling faster cargo movement. Both projects form part of the Master Plan 2041 and are being developed with NICDC under the DMIC framework.Read more
