The surge follows fluctuating demand trends earlier in the month and comes as heatwave conditions intensify across multiple regions. Experts expect demand to rise further, potentially nearing previous highs recorded in 2023 and 2024. The government has projected peak demand to reach around 270 GW this summer, indicating continued pressure on energy infrastructure.Read more

Residential projects nearing completion are witnessing faster sales as homebuyers increasingly prioritise execution visibility and delivery certainty. Developments that are 80–95% complete are emerging as a preferred segment, offering a balance between pricing advantage and lower risk compared to early-stage launches. The shift reflects sustained concerns over delays despite regulatory oversight, rising ticket sizes, and a growing share of end-users in the market. In high-supply micro-markets such as Greater Noida West and Dwarka Expressway, construction progress and delivery credibility are becoming key differentiators, influencing buying decisions more than pricing or location alone.Read more
