Swiss real estate company Mobimo Holding reported net rental income of CHF 74.2 million for the first half of 2026, according to a Reuters report.
The company recorded EBIT of CHF 166.4 million during the period, while its profit increased to CHF 126.8 million. The results reflect continued income from Mobimo’s real estate portfolio and its broader property operations.
Mobimo has maintained a focus on rental properties and development activities in Switzerland. Its previous half-year results showed that rental income remained an important part of its earnings, with the company also benefiting from development projects, property sales and changes in property valuations. In the first half of 2025, Mobimo had reported net rental income of CHF 62.5 million, operating result (EBIT) of CHF 144.5 million and profit of CHF 109.7 million.
The company’s earlier reporting also showed continued investment in its property portfolio. Mobimo had invested CHF 42 million in its portfolio during the first half of 2025, while residential projects in Lausen and Aarau were progressing. At that time, the company said rental demand in Switzerland remained strong, while lengthy approval processes and objections were affecting the pace at which new housing supply could be brought to the market.
Mobimo’s investment property portfolio had stood at CHF 3.26 billion at the end of June 2025, while its overall property portfolio was valued at about CHF 3.92 billion. The company also reported an investment property vacancy rate of 3.9% at that point.
For 2026, Mobimo said its outlook remains positive. The company is confident that it will achieve the operational targets it communicated at the beginning of the year.
The company’s continued focus on rental income, property development and portfolio management will remain important to its performance through the rest of the year. Its latest first-half figures indicate that rental income continues to provide a steady component of its overall business, while development and valuation-related activities also influence its financial results.
