Radisson Blu Guwahati is organising 'Uttar Dakshin – Jab North Met South', a culinary festival at The Great Kebab Factory from July 31 to August 16, 2026. The event brings together regional dishes from North and South India, featuring a menu curated by the hotel's culinary team. The festival includes a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialities prepared using traditional recipes and cooking techniques, alongside themed décor and regional dining elements designed to showcase India's diverse culinary heritage.
Radisson Blu Guwahati has launched 'Uttar Dakshin – Jab North Met South', a food festival at The Great Kebab Factory, offering guests a selection of regional dishes representing the culinary traditions of North and South India. The festival is being held from July 31 to August 16, 2026.
According to the hotel, the festival has been curated to showcase the diversity of Indian regional cuisines through a menu featuring traditional recipes, locally inspired ingredients and established cooking techniques. The event forms part of the property's hospitality and dining programme aimed at highlighting India's culinary heritage.
The menu includes dishes such as Malabari Kalmi Kabab, Mathania Paneer, Dhungar Adraki Chaapein, Mutton Pulusu, Andhra Masala Prawns, Haryali Badami Tangdi Kabab and Amritsari Fish with Gunpowder Aioli, alongside a wider selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian preparations. The hotel stated that the offerings draw inspiration from regional cuisines across the country, incorporating grilled dishes, curries and coastal specialities.
In addition to the food, the festival features themed décor and traditional presentation styles intended to reflect cultural elements associated with different parts of India. Meals are being served with regional-inspired table settings, including presentations on banana leaves, to complement the dining experience.
General Manager Gurmeet Randhawa said the festival has been developed to bring together culinary traditions from different regions of the country while maintaining the authenticity of regional recipes. He added that the hotel's culinary team has focused on presenting a menu that reflects India's diverse food culture within a single dining experience.
The hotel said the festival combines regional flavours with an immersive dining environment that incorporates cultural themes and traditional presentation. Through the event, Radisson Blu Guwahati aims to provide guests with an opportunity to experience a range of North and South Indian cuisines at The Great Kebab Factory during the limited festival period.
