JLL Business Services has opened a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, strengthening its operations in India and adding to the city’s growing base of global capability centres. Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu inaugurated the facility, which spans 1,20,000 square feet across two floors at Prestige Sky Tech in the Financial District. The centre is JLL Business Services’ second hub in India after Gurugram and is expected to create more than 1,600 high-skilled jobs over the next two years. The facility will support JLL’s global operations through standardised processes and technology-enabled workflows.
Hyderabad has added another global capability centre to its growing commercial and technology ecosystem, with JLL Business Services (JBS) opening a new facility in the city’s Financial District.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu inaugurated the Global Capability Centre (GCC) of JLL Business Services during a visit to the facility. The centre is expected to create more than 1,600 high-skilled jobs as its operations expand.
JBS is the integrated operations delivery platform of JLL, a global commercial real estate and investment management company. The Hyderabad centre will serve as the company’s second hub in India after Gurugram.
The new facility is spread across two floors and covers 1,20,000 square feet at the Prestige Sky Tech building in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The centre is expected to scale its workforce to 1,600 employees over the next two years.
Sridhar Babu said the establishment of the centre reflects the confidence global companies continue to place in Telangana and further strengthens Hyderabad’s position as a destination for Global Capability Centres. He added that the state government is focused on attracting global investments, supporting innovation and creating quality employment opportunities for young people in the state.
For JLL Business Services, the decision to establish the centre in Hyderabad was a strategic one. Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Centre Officer at JLL Business Services, said the city was selected for its deep talent pool and its ability to support the company’s expanding global operations.
JBS currently operates across six countries and has a workforce of more than 6,500 employees. The business has developed into JLL’s central operations platform, supporting the wider company through shared services and operational functions.
Rees said the Hyderabad GCC would bring together skilled employees, standardised processes and AI-enabled workflows to support JLL’s global strategy and strengthen the services provided to clients across international markets.
The expansion also adds to Hyderabad’s established position as a major GCC market in India. The city has attracted centres across technology, financial services, consulting and other business functions, supported by its large talent pool and established commercial infrastructure.
The addition of JBS’s Hyderabad facility is therefore expected to increase the city’s commercial activity while creating a sizeable pool of high-skilled employment as the centre moves towards its planned workforce of 1,600 employees.
