Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd has reported a 14% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of the current financial year, driven by higher income during the quarter. 
According to a regulatory filing made during the past week, the company's consolidated net profit stood at INR 44.94 crore for the quarter ended June, compared with INR 39.44 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. 
The company's total income increased to INR 319.52 crore in the April-June quarter from INR 259.54 crore reported in the same period last year, reflecting growth in its overall business operations. 
Ajmera Realty & Infra India, headquartered in Mumbai, is one of India's established real estate developers with projects across the residential and commercial segments. The company has a presence in key markets including Mumbai and Bengaluru and has continued to focus on project execution and expanding its development portfolio. 
The improved quarterly financial performance comes amid continued demand in India's residential real estate market, particularly in major cities where housing sales and premium housing demand have remained resilient.
