Synopsis

The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has received 449 online applications for 240 industrial plots under the 12th phase of its Direct Allotment Scheme. The plots span around 145 acres and are estimated to be worth around INR 195 crore. The application window ran from 15 to 28 July, with a lottery scheduled to allot plots that drew multiple applications. Locations receiving applications span several districts, including Jodhpur, Ajmer, Alwar, Balotra, Jaipur, Bhilwara and Kishangarh.

The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has received 449 online applications for 240 plots under the 12th phase of its Direct Allotment Scheme, a senior corporation official said, as the state continues to draw investor interest in its industrial land allotment programme.
Applications for the 12th phase opened on 15 July and closed on 28 July. The scheme operates under a model in which industrial parks are developed through private participation and public-private partnership arrangements. Launched in January 2025, the scheme is expected to remain in force until December 2026 and continues to attract investment into the state, according to a senior RIICO official.
According to the corporation official, investor enthusiasm was again evident during this phase of the scheme, with the volume of applications reflecting growing confidence in the state's industrial investment climate. The 240 plots on offer span around 145 acres and are estimated to be worth approximately INR 195 crore. A lottery was scheduled to be conducted on Friday to allot plots that received multiple applications.
Among the areas covered in this phase were 14 industrial plots in the new Boranada Extension industrial area near Jodhpur, which drew 31 applications. Applications were also received for 14 plots in IT Park Makadwali in Ajmer, 28 in Rundh Sokhri in Alwar, 35 in Borawas Kalawa First in Balotra, 21 in Shri Ram Janaki Industrial Area at Kunjbiharipura in Jaipur, 15 in Dhunwala Industrial Area in Bhilwara, and 51 in Kachariya Industrial Area in Kishangarh.
The corporation official indicated that the allotment process for a further batch of plots beyond the 240 covered in this round would follow in subsequent stages, though details of that process were not fully specified in the disclosure.
The Direct Allotment Scheme benefits entrepreneurs who signed memorandums of understanding with the state government during the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit, held in December 2024, though investors who have not yet signed an MoU retain the option to do so ahead of the application deadline along with payment of the earnest money deposit. Under the policy, industrial parks are classified into Category A, developed by private developers on land allotted by RIICO at identified locations, and Category D, developed under a joint venture model within a public-private partnership framework, with RIICO contributing land as equity while retaining a minimum 26 per cent stake.
In the 12th phase overall, RIICO offered more than 5,000 industrial and logistics plots across over 100 industrial areas across the state, with plots receiving a single application allotted directly and those with multiple applicants allotted through an e-lottery process to maintain transparency. The scale of applications received for this specific batch of 240 plots underscores continuing demand for industrial land in the state, though figures for the remaining plots on offer under the broader 12th phase were not disclosed alongside this update.
