VinFast India has partnered with Federal Bank to provide inventory financing solutions for its authorised dealer network as the company expands its presence in the Indian electric vehicle market. The financing arrangement is intended to help dealers manage working capital, maintain vehicle inventory and meet customer demand. VinFast said the partnership will also support the expansion of its retail network across the country. The Vietnamese automaker plans to establish 75 dealerships in India by the end of the year, with the financing support aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of its dealer partners.
VinFast India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Federal Bank to provide customised inventory financing solutions for its authorised dealer network.
Under the partnership, Federal Bank will offer financing options to help VinFast dealers manage working capital, maintain healthy vehicle inventory and respond to customer demand. The arrangement is also expected to support the company's ongoing expansion of its dealer network across India.
VinFast India, a subsidiary of Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast, said the partnership combines Federal Bank's financial capabilities and nationwide presence with its expanding dealer network. The company plans to establish 75 dealerships across the country by the end of the year.
VinFast Asia CEO Tapan Ghosh said the partnership would provide dealers with greater financial flexibility to support business growth and operational efficiency. He added that the company would continue to focus on developing its retail network as it expands its presence in India.
Kumkum Jain, Additional Senior Vice President at Federal Bank, said the collaboration brings together VinFast's focus on electric mobility and the bank's experience in dealer financing, supporting the broader development of India's EV ecosystem.
The partnership comes as VinFast continues to build its sales and service network in India, with dealer financing forming part of the infrastructure needed to support vehicle distribution and inventory management as the company expands.
