The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has outlined its Anant Nagar Housing Scheme on Mohan Road in Lucknow, as part of its efforts to promote planned development and expand housing and supporting infrastructure in the designated development area. The scheme includes residential buildings, shops and commercial centres, with a specific focus on providing housing facilities for economically weaker sections.
According to the LDA's official information, the scheme is intended to support planned development through land acquisition and land development, along with the development of different land uses in accordance with the Master Plan. The authority has also listed infrastructure development, park construction, landscaping and maintenance among the activities associated with the scheme.
The Anant Nagar development has been divided into multiple sectors. The LDA's location details identify Alok Khand as Sector 5, Adarsh Khand as Sector 6, Aditya as Sector 7 and Aamod as Sector 8. The authority has stated that registration dates for Sectors 5, 7 and 8 are yet to be announced.
For Sector 6, the LDA lists Kallia Kheda as the location and records the registration period as April 4, 2025 to May 5, 2025. The official page also provides the location coordinates for the sector.
The LDA has listed the rate for the scheme at INR 41,150 per square metre. The booklet fee is INR 1,100, inclusive of GST, while the registration amount is specified as 5% of the property cost. For the reserved category, the registration amount is listed at 2.5% of the property cost.
To simplify access to its housing schemes and related property services, the LDA has also launched an online registration portal. The authority says the platform is designed to facilitate housing scheme applications, property registration and other real estate-related government services.
Beyond housing, the scheme's stated objectives include the development of commercial spaces and infrastructure facilities, as well as the construction and maintenance of parks. These components are intended to support a more planned development framework around the housing areas.
The Anant Nagar Housing Scheme therefore combines residential development with commercial, recreational and infrastructure-related provisions, while the LDA's emphasis on economically weaker sections places affordable housing among its stated objectives. Further registration details for sectors where dates have not yet been announced will be made available by the authority.
