Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reviewed the progress of commercial, residential and social infrastructure projects under development at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) during a high-level meeting held in the past week. The review covered the financial hub's Strategic Roadmap-2030, future expansion plans and ongoing construction activities. Senior officials briefed the Chief Minister on the city's development priorities, including business growth, infrastructure expansion, talent development and global connectivity. Patel inspected key project sites and emphasised the need to sustain development momentum as GIFT City continues to evolve into an international financial and business centre. He said the financial hub would play an important role in supporting the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 while reinforcing Gujarat's position in the global economy.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reviewed the progress of commercial, residential and social infrastructure projects at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) during the past week, assessing ongoing developments and future expansion plans for India's international financial services hub. During the visit, Patel chaired a high-level review meeting and inspected infrastructure projects currently under construction across the township. 
According to an official release, GIFT City Managing Director Sanjay Kaul presented the organisation's Strategic Roadmap-2030, outlining the financial hub's development journey, strategic priorities and long-term vision. The presentation covered planned infrastructure expansion, business growth initiatives and measures aimed at strengthening GIFT City's position as a global financial and technology destination. 
During the review meeting, the Chief Minister held discussions with senior officials from various government departments regarding upcoming development works and implementation priorities. The review focused on commercial developments, residential projects and social infrastructure that are being developed to support the city's growing business ecosystem and workforce. 
Patel subsequently visited several project sites to assess construction progress and reviewed the status of infrastructure works underway across the integrated financial district. The projects inspected form part of GIFT City's continuing expansion to accommodate increasing financial, commercial and residential activity within the special economic and international financial services zone. 
The Chief Minister appreciated the progress made in the development of GIFT City and emphasised the importance of maintaining the pace of infrastructure delivery alongside business expansion. He underlined the need to continue strengthening business growth, physical infrastructure, talent development and global connectivity as the financial hub expands its role within India's financial services landscape. 
According to the official statement, Patel expressed confidence that GIFT City would make a significant contribution towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. He said the integrated financial hub was expected to reinforce Gujarat's position in the global economy by attracting investment, expanding financial services and supporting long-term economic development. 
The review meeting was attended by Chief Secretary M K Das, Chief Minister's Chief Advisor Hasmukh Adhia and other senior government officials, who participated in discussions on the city's future development strategy. The review forms part of the state's ongoing monitoring of infrastructure projects and urban development initiatives aimed at supporting GIFT City's continued growth as India's flagship international financial centre.
