• KEC International has secured new orders worth INR 1,180 crore across its Transmission and Distribution (T&D), Civil and Cables businesses.
• The order book includes the company's first T&D project for a data centre, marking its entry into a new infrastructure segment alongside transmission projects in India and overseas.
• The Civil business has received orders for residential projects from private developers, while the Cables division has won supply contracts in both domestic and international markets.
• The latest contracts strengthen KEC International's order pipeline and reflect continued demand across India's power, urban infrastructure and real estate sectors.
KEC International Ltd, an RPG Group company, has won new orders valued at INR 1,180 crore across multiple business verticals, including its first Transmission and Distribution (T&D) project for a data centre. The latest contracts span power infrastructure, residential construction and cable supply, further diversifying the company's engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) portfolio.
A key highlight of the order announcement is KEC's entry into the data centre T&D segment. The company has secured its maiden order to execute transmission and distribution infrastructure for a data centre project in India, reflecting the growing demand for reliable power systems as hyperscale and enterprise data centre developments continue to expand across the country.
Within its T&D business, KEC has also secured transmission line and substation orders in India, along with overseas contracts that strengthen its international presence. The company said these projects reinforce its position in the power transmission sector, where investments continue to be driven by grid expansion, renewable energy integration and rising electricity demand.
The Civil business has received orders for residential developments from leading private developers. These projects add to KEC's portfolio of urban infrastructure and building construction works, which includes residential, commercial, industrial and institutional developments executed across India.
In addition, the Cables business has secured supply orders in both domestic and export markets. The contracts cover the manufacture and supply of various cable products for infrastructure and industrial applications, supporting the company's integrated business model across engineering and manufacturing.
Commenting on the order wins, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Shri Vimal Kejriwal stated that the company's entry into the data centre T&D segment represents an important milestone, considering the rapid growth of digital infrastructure in India. He also noted that the mix of domestic and international orders across business verticals reflects sustained customer confidence and supports the company's long-term growth strategy.
The latest contracts come amid rising investments in India's infrastructure sector, including power transmission networks, urban housing, commercial developments and digital infrastructure. Growing demand for data centres, supported by cloud computing, artificial intelligence and digital services, has created new opportunities for EPC companies with capabilities in specialised electrical infrastructure.
With these additions, KEC International continues to strengthen its order book across core infrastructure sectors. The company expects the diversified portfolio of projects to support execution momentum while expanding its presence in emerging segments such as data centre power infrastructure, alongside its established businesses in transmission, civil construction and cables.
