NBCC (India) Ltd has secured four new work orders worth INR 501.45 crore, strengthening its project management consultancy and infrastructure portfolio. The largest contract involves the construction of over 2,200 science laboratories in government schools across Rajasthan. The company has also won an EPC contract from Bharat Electronics Ltd for infrastructure development and two project management assignments from Power Finance Corporation under its CSR initiative. These projects span Rajasthan, Mizoram and Goa, reflecting NBCC's continued role in executing public infrastructure and social development projects.
State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd has secured four new work orders worth a combined INR 501.45 crore, further expanding its project management consultancy and infrastructure development portfolio. The company disclosed the contracts in a regulatory filing made recently, stating that the orders were received in the ordinary course of business.
The largest order, valued at INR 430.69 crore, has been awarded by the Rajasthan Council of School Education. Under the turnkey contract, NBCC will construct 2,256 science laboratories covering Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 922 government schools across Rajasthan. The project is aimed at strengthening science education infrastructure in government educational institutions and improving laboratory facilities for students.
NBCC has also received an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract worth INR 60.61 crore from Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL). The project involves developing infrastructure facilities for NFTRs at BEL. While the company has not disclosed additional project-specific details, the order adds to NBCC's growing portfolio of infrastructure assignments for public sector enterprises.
In addition, Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) has awarded two project management agency (PMA) contracts to NBCC under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, with a combined value of over INR 10 crore.
The first contract, worth INR 5.38 crore, relates to providing project management services for the construction of a modern tourist facilitation centre in Aizawl, Mizoram. The facility is expected to support tourism infrastructure in the state by improving visitor services.
The second PMA contract, valued at INR 4.77 crore, is for the construction of a school building under Phase II at Dr K B Hedgewar Higher Secondary School of Arts, Commerce & Science in Cujira, Bambolim, Goa.
NBCC, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, is engaged in project management consultancy, engineering, procurement and construction, and real estate development. Over the years, the company has executed several government infrastructure projects, including redevelopment works, institutional buildings, educational facilities and urban infrastructure across the country.
The latest orders further strengthen NBCC's order book and highlight its continued involvement in executing education, tourism and public infrastructure projects for government agencies and public sector organisations.
