Urbanrise secures strong channel partner commitments ahead of Chennai residential project launch

Urbanrise has received strong backing from channel partners ahead of the launch of its upcoming residential project in Chennai, with more than 300 partners participating in a two-day pre-launch event. The developer said the project's initial launch inventory is valued at over INR 1,000 crore, while channel partners collectively committed business exceeding three times that value and submitted a significant number of expressions of interest. Participants from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad attended the event, indicating early market confidence in the development. The project, currently referred to as "Codename: The Next Big Thing", is yet to receive its official name and is expected to be launched in the coming months.

Urbanrise has reported strong interest from channel partners ahead of the launch of its upcoming residential project in Chennai, with more than 300 channel partners participating in a two-day pre-launch event organised by the developer. The project, which is yet to be officially named and is currently being referred to as "Codename: The Next Big Thing", attracted participants from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. 
According to the company, the event was held to introduce the forthcoming residential development to its sales network before the official market launch. Urbanrise said the response reflected confidence among channel partners in both the proposed project and the company's residential development portfolio across South India. 
The developer stated that the project's initial launch inventory is valued at more than INR 1,000 crore. During the event, channel partners collectively committed business worth more than three times the value of the launch inventory. The company also received a substantial number of expressions of interest from participating channel partners, indicating strong preliminary market engagement ahead of the project's formal launch. 
Urbanrise said the level of participation and commitments received during the pre-launch programme has created positive momentum for the project. While the company has not disclosed further details regarding the project's location, scale or product configuration, it stated that the development is expected to be among its key residential launches in Chennai. 
The company has not yet announced an official launch date or the project's final brand name. 
Urbanrise develops residential projects across Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. According to the company, it has a customer base of more than 24,000 homebuyers and a development pipeline comprising over 81 million sq ft of ongoing and upcoming projects across South India. 
The developer also stated that it has a real estate portfolio valued at more than INR 63,000 crore and is backed by Kotak Realty Fund. Its portfolio primarily comprises residential developments across major southern Indian markets, with a focus on large-scale housing projects. 
Urbanrise said it continues to expand its presence in South India's residential market through new project launches while maintaining its focus on timely project delivery. The company expects the positive response from its channel partner network to support the upcoming launch of its Chennai development.
