Bollywood actor Salman Khan has sold his apartment in Mumbai's Bandra West for INR 3.50 crore, according to property registration documents. The flat, located in Shiv Asthan Heights, was purchased by the actor in 2014 and has now changed hands after more than a decade. The transaction reflects the continued demand for premium residential properties in Bandra West, one of Mumbai's costliest housing markets. Despite the sale, Salman Khan continues to be associated with Bandra, where his family has lived for decades and where a new residential project is also under development.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan has sold a residential apartment in Mumbai's Bandra West for INR 3.50 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by CRE Matrix. The sale was registered recently, marking another high-value transaction in one of Mumbai's most premium residential micro-markets.
The apartment is located in Shiv Asthan Heights in Bandra West and has a carpet area of around 758 square feet. The transaction also includes two car parking spaces. Based on the carpet area, the deal translates to a value of nearly INR 46,000 per square foot, reflecting the premium pricing that residential properties continue to command in Bandra West.
Property records show that Salman Khan had purchased the apartment in 2014 for INR 2.88 crore. With the latest sale at INR 3.50 crore, the transaction represents an appreciation of around INR 62 lakh over the purchase price during the holding period. The buyers paid a stamp duty of INR 21 lakh along with a registration fee of INR 30,000 to complete the transaction.
Bandra West continues to remain one of Mumbai's most sought-after residential locations because of its limited housing supply, established social infrastructure and strong demand from celebrities, business families and high-net-worth individuals. The locality has consistently witnessed premium property transactions over the years, supported by its proximity to the city's commercial districts and sea-facing neighbourhoods.
Although Salman Khan has sold this apartment, Bandra remains closely associated with the actor. He continues to live with his family at the iconic Galaxy Apartments, where the Khan family has resided for several decades. Reports over the past few weeks have also indicated that a new sea-facing bungalow is being developed for the family in Bandra after receiving the required approvals.
The actor has remained active in Mumbai's real estate market through both residential and commercial assets. In recent years, he has also leased commercial properties in the city, highlighting his diversified real estate holdings alongside his film career.
