Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), part of the Tata Group, has opened the 154-key Vivanta Gurugram Sector 95A, taking its portfolio in the National Capital Region (NCR) to 18 hotels. The new property strengthens the hospitality company's presence in Gurugram, a key commercial hub witnessing sustained corporate activity and infrastructure development. The opening also expands the footprint of the Vivanta brand in a high-growth market. IHCL currently has a development pipeline of 263 hotels across India and opened 11 new properties during the quarter ended June, reflecting its continued expansion strategy across multiple hospitality segments.
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), the Tata Group's hospitality arm, has opened the 154-key Vivanta Gurugram Sector 95A, expanding its presence in the National Capital Region (NCR) to 18 hotels. The latest addition strengthens the company's portfolio in Gurugram, one of India's fastest-growing commercial centres, where demand for hospitality assets continues to be supported by corporate activity and infrastructure development.
The newly launched hotel operates under IHCL's Vivanta brand and comprises 154 guest rooms. The company said the opening forms part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in high-growth urban markets while expanding the Vivanta brand across key business destinations.
Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President – New Businesses and Hotel Openings at IHCL, stated that Gurugram continued to be one of India's most dynamic commercial centres, supported by sustained corporate demand and ongoing infrastructure growth. She added that the opening of Vivanta Gurugram Sector 95A reinforces IHCL's presence in the NCR while further expanding the Vivanta brand in an important growth market.
IHCL has continued to add new properties across its brand portfolio as part of its broader expansion plans. The company currently has a pipeline of 263 hotels at various stages of development across India.
During the quarter ended June, IHCL opened 11 new hotels across its brands, reflecting its continued focus on increasing its footprint in established business destinations as well as emerging hospitality markets.
The opening of Vivanta Gurugram Sector 95A further strengthens IHCL's hospitality network in the NCR, where the company continues to expand its portfolio in response to growing business travel and accommodation demand.
