IRB Infrastructure reports 51% rise in Q1 FY27 net profit, declares INR 60 crore interim dividend

Synopsis

IRB Infrastructure reported a 51% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY27, supported by higher revenues and steady toll collections. The company also announced an interim dividend of INR 60 crore for shareholders. Toll revenue grew 14% during the quarter, reflecting continued traffic growth across its operational road assets. The company said it remains focused on expanding its infrastructure portfolio and reiterated its long-term target of increasing its asset base to INR 1,40,000 crore by 2030.

IRB Infrastructure has reported a 51% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit to INR 306.27 crore for the first quarter of FY27, driven by higher revenues and improved operational performance. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of INR 202.48 crore during the corresponding quarter of FY26. 
According to its regulatory filing, the company's total income increased to INR 2,172.66 crore in the April-June quarter of FY27 from INR 2,164.50 crore recorded during the same period last year. The board also declared an interim dividend of INR 60 crore during the quarter. 
IRB Infrastructure said its toll revenue for the first quarter of FY27 rose 14% year-on-year to INR 733 crore. The increase was supported by stable traffic movement and collections across its operational highway projects. Toll revenue continues to remain a key contributor to the company's earnings, alongside income generated from its infrastructure asset portfolio. 
Commenting on the performance, Chairman and Managing Director Virendra D. Mhaiskar said the company was successfully navigating the current global economic challenges with the support of its INR 94,000 crore asset portfolio. He added that IRB Infrastructure remains on track to achieve its target of expanding its asset base to INR 1,40,000 crore by 2030, with a focus on creating long-term value for stakeholders. 
IRB Infrastructure is one of India's largest integrated private toll road and highway infrastructure developers. The company develops, operates and maintains highway projects through Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) and other public-private partnership models. Over the years, it has built a diversified portfolio of operational and under-construction road assets across multiple states, with toll collections continuing to play a significant role in its financial performance.
