Keppel crosses 2026 interim funds target early as assets under management exceed USD 77.36 billion

Synopsis

Keppel has crossed its interim 2026 target for funds under management (FUM) ahead of schedule, supported by strong capital inflows into its infrastructure, real estate and connectivity private funds. The Singapore-based asset manager said it secured substantial commitments from global investors and continued to benefit from rising demand for digital infrastructure, cloud computing and artificial intelligence-linked investments. The company also expanded its acquisition pipeline through its infrastructure strategies. Following the announcement, Keppel's shares gained more than 3% during trading, reflecting positive investor sentiment.

Singapore-based asset manager and operator Keppel has achieved its interim target of reaching SGD 100 billion (USD 77.36 billion) in funds under management (FUM) ahead of its planned timeline, driven by growth across its infrastructure, real estate and connectivity private funds.
The company said it has added nearly SGD 13.5 billion in funds under management so far this year through these investment platforms. The milestone comes ahead of its previously announced goal of achieving SGD 100 billion in FUM by the end of 2026.
Keppel stated that it received SGD 7.8 billion in fresh capital commitments from global limited partners across Aermont Fund VI, Keppel Education Asset Fund II and several other investment funds. The company said these commitments reflect continued investor interest in its private market investment strategies.
It added that growing demand for digital infrastructure, cloud computing and artificial intelligence-related investments has supported fundraising activity. According to the company, its expertise in developing and managing data centres, along with its infrastructure-focused investment platforms, has become a key contributor to capital raising.
Keppel also said that its private infrastructure strategies have secured SGD 7.7 billion in equity commitments to date. These commitments provide capital to pursue an acquisition pipeline valued at more than SGD 22 billion across infrastructure-related opportunities.
The company did not disclose its latest total funds under management beyond confirming that it had exceeded its interim target. It also did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for additional details on its current FUM.
The latest achievement builds on Keppel's long-term asset management strategy announced in 2023, when it outlined plans to grow its assets under management to SGD 150 billion by 2030. Since then, the company has continued to expand its private fund offerings across sectors including infrastructure, real estate and connectivity, while increasing its focus on alternative assets and sustainable investment opportunities.
Investor sentiment remained positive following the announcement. During trading, Keppel's shares rose as much as 3.3% to SGD 11.72, marking their highest level since late April.
