Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group has announced plans to establish an integrated superalloy manufacturing facility in Telangana with an investment of INR 600 crore. The project will manufacture high-performance nickel-based alloys and other specialised materials used in aerospace, defence, energy and industrial applications. Scheduled for completion by 2028, the facility is expected to strengthen India's domestic capabilities in critical materials manufacturing, reduce import dependence and further reinforce Telangana's growing position as a hub for aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group has unveiled plans to invest INR 600 crore in setting up an integrated superalloy manufacturing facility in Telangana, marking a significant step towards expanding India's capacity to produce high-performance materials for strategic industries. 
The proposed plant will manufacture nickel-based superalloys and a range of specialised metallurgical products that are widely used in aerospace, defence, energy, space and other engineering-intensive sectors. These materials are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, pressure and corrosion, making them essential for manufacturing advanced turbines, aircraft engines and other critical equipment. 
The company intends to develop the facility as a fully integrated manufacturing unit, bringing together multiple stages of production within a single campus. The project is expected to incorporate advanced melting, forging, casting and finishing technologies to produce a wide range of high-value alloy products that currently rely significantly on imports. 
Once operational, the facility is expected to supply materials to both domestic and international customers across sectors requiring specialised engineering alloys. The project is also likely to strengthen local supply chains by improving the availability of critical raw materials for manufacturers engaged in aerospace, defence and precision engineering. 
According to the company, the investment aligns with India's broader objective of increasing self-reliance in strategic manufacturing. Domestic production of superalloys is expected to reduce dependence on overseas suppliers while supporting the country's expanding aerospace and defence manufacturing ecosystem. 
Commercial operations are targeted to commence in 2028 following the completion of construction, installation of production equipment and product certification processes. Besides serving external customers, the facility will also support Raghu Vamsi Aerospace's own manufacturing operations by ensuring a stable supply of specialised materials. 
The investment further adds to Telangana's growing reputation as a destination for high-technology manufacturing. The state has attracted a series of investments in aerospace, defence, electronics and precision engineering over the past few years, supported by industrial infrastructure, skilled manpower and dedicated manufacturing clusters. 
Industry observers believe the project could help create a stronger domestic ecosystem for advanced materials while encouraging further investment in downstream manufacturing. As demand for specialised alloys rises across aviation, defence, clean energy and space programmes, the proposed facility is expected to contribute to India's long-term goal of building a globally competitive advanced manufacturing base.
