Synopsis

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has introduced the Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026, offering more than 1,200 residential flats in Narela at a 25% discount to make homeownership more affordable. The scheme includes ready-to-move units across different income categories, with prices starting from around INR 33 lakh after the discount. It is aimed at working professionals and middle-income buyers and will be implemented through an online registration and booking process. The launch comes as DDA continues to expand its affordable housing initiatives, supported by strong demand for residential properties in Delhi.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026, introducing more than 1,200 residential flats in Narela with a flat 25% discount. The scheme is aimed at making homeownership more accessible for working professionals and middle-income buyers by offering ready-to-move homes at reduced prices. The discounted prices start from around INR 33 lakh, depending on the category and location of the flat.
The newly launched scheme includes flats across different categories and is part of DDA's continued efforts to improve access to affordable housing in Delhi. Interested buyers will be able to register and book the flats through DDA's online housing portal within the announced application period. The allotment process is expected to follow the authority's established procedures.
The launch builds on DDA's recent affordable housing initiatives in Narela and nearby areas. Earlier this year, the authority introduced the Nagrik Awaas Yojana 2026, under which flats in Narela and Siraspur were also offered at a 25% discount across HIG, MIG, LIG and EWS categories. That scheme was introduced to improve affordability and attract more homebuyers to developing residential locations in Delhi.
Narela has remained a key focus area for DDA's affordable housing programmes over the past few years. The authority has regularly introduced schemes offering discounted flats in the locality, supported by ongoing infrastructure development and efforts to improve connectivity. Previous housing schemes in the area have received encouraging response from buyers seeking comparatively affordable residential options within the National Capital.
The latest housing scheme also comes at a time when DDA has reported strong residential sales. In the first quarter of FY27, the authority recorded revenue of around INR 1,020 crore, more than double the corresponding period last year, driven largely by robust demand across affordable and other housing categories. The performance reflects sustained buyer interest in DDA's residential projects and its pricing strategy.
