Aurum PropTech Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of INR 45.18 crore for the first quarter of FY2026–27, reversing a loss recorded a year earlier, primarily due to gains from the sale of two commercial buildings in Navi Mumbai. The Mumbai-based PropTech company also reported a rise in total income to INR 119.01 crore during the April–June quarter. The asset sale, valued at INR 112 crore, was completed during the quarter, with the balance gain recognised as other income from discontinued operations. The results come days after Aurum PropTech announced the acquisition of Housing.com in an all-equity transaction aimed at expanding its digital real estate ecosystem.
Aurum PropTech Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of INR 45.18 crore during the first quarter of FY2026–27, supported by gains arising from the sale of two commercial buildings in Navi Mumbai. The company had reported a consolidated net loss of INR 10.02 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
According to a regulatory filing released on Monday, the company's total income increased to INR 119.01 crore during the April–June quarter from INR 73.88 crore a year earlier.
The improved financial performance was primarily driven by the completion of the sale of two commercial buildings in Navi Mumbai. Aurum PropTech had entered into the transaction in March by selling the assets for INR 112 crore, with the deal being concluded during the June quarter.
The company stated that it recognised the balance gain of INR 52.35 crore during the quarter as other income from discontinued operations following the completion of the transaction.
For the full FY2025–26 financial year, Aurum PropTech had reported a net profit of INR 0.72 crore on a total income of INR 412.43 crore.
Aurum PropTech operates a portfolio of digital real estate platforms, including NestAway, HelloWorld, Aurum Analytica, Sell.do and PropTiger. These businesses provide services across rental housing, co-living, data analytics, sales automation and digital property transactions.
Commenting on the quarterly performance, Executive Director Onkar Shetye said the April–June quarter marked the company's third consecutive profitable quarter, reflecting improvements in operational execution, unit economics and capital-efficient growth.
Shetye also described the acquisition of Housing.com as a significant milestone for the company. He said the transaction brings one of India's largest online real estate discovery platforms into Aurum PropTech's ecosystem while establishing a strategic alignment with Australia's REA Group.
Earlier in the past week, Aurum PropTech announced the acquisition of Housing.com through an all-equity share swap transaction valued at INR 458 crore as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the digital real estate sector.
According to the company, the integration of Housing.com's marketplace, which records more than 58 million average monthly visits and around 12 million monthly active users, with Aurum PropTech's technology platforms is intended to create an integrated artificial intelligence-driven real estate operating ecosystem.
Shetye added that the company's data analytics, transaction management and sales automation businesses continued to record profitable growth supported by artificial intelligence-enabled solutions. He also said the co-living and family rental businesses achieved EBITDA profitability through improvements in operational efficiency and expansion in scale.
