A family from Rayapudi village has voluntarily contributed 17.05 acres of land under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) for the development of Amaravati, reaffirming support for Andhra Pradesh's capital city project. The consent documents were submitted to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) at its headquarters in Rayapudi. The family said they were pleased to be part of the capital's development and encouraged other landowners in the capital region to voluntarily participate in the land pooling process to support the project's progress.
A Rayapudi-based family has voluntarily contributed 17.05 acres of land under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) for the development of Amaravati, adding to the ongoing land aggregation process for Andhra Pradesh's capital city.
The consent documents were submitted by Anumolu Venkata Nagavardhana Sai Bipin Kumar and his family for pooling 17.05 acres of land situated in Rayapudi village. The documents were handed over to Competent Authority and Special Deputy Collector K.S. Bhagyarekha in the presence of APCRDA Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja, IAS, at the APCRDA headquarters in Rayapudi during the past week.
During the programme, the family said they were happy to contribute towards the construction of Amaravati and become part of the capital city's development. They also appealed to landowners in villages within the capital region to voluntarily cooperate with the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) by participating in the Land Pooling Scheme.
The Land Pooling Scheme has been one of the key mechanisms adopted by APCRDA for assembling land required for the planned capital city. Under the scheme, landowners voluntarily surrender their land for infrastructure and urban development in return for developed residential and commercial plots along with other benefits as per the scheme's provisions. The initiative has played a central role in the planning and phased development of Amaravati since the capital project was launched.
Authorities have continued to encourage voluntary participation from landowners as infrastructure works and planning activities for Amaravati move forward. The latest contribution from the Rayapudi family reflects the continued participation of landowners in the capital region's land pooling programme.
