Aldar Properties has sold out all townhouses at The Orchids, its latest residential launch within the Yas Acres community on Yas Island, generating more than AED 680 million in sales. The strong response highlights sustained demand for family-oriented homes in Abu Dhabi's residential market. UAE nationals accounted for more than half of the buyers, while expatriate residents and overseas investors also showed significant interest. The developer said most buyers were first-time Aldar customers, and a limited collection of premium villas will be released in the next phase.
Aldar Properties has sold out all townhouses at The Orchids, its newest residential development within Yas Acres on Yas Island, generating more than AED 680 million in sales during the launch. The strong performance reflects continued demand for family-focused homes in one of Abu Dhabi's established residential communities.
The developer stated that UAE nationals accounted for 54% of the buyers, while the remaining 46% of sales came from expatriate residents and international purchasers. Buyers from India, the United Kingdom and China were among the leading overseas nationalities by sales volume.
According to the company, around 73% of purchasers were first-time Aldar customers. Demand was driven by the community's proximity to educational institutions such as Noya British School and Yas American Academy, along with Yas Island's leisure, entertainment and lifestyle offerings.
The Orchids was introduced as an extension of the Yas Acres master-planned community, comprising 217 homes, including townhouses and villas designed for family living. The project also includes community facilities such as a 500-square-metre clubhouse, landscaped parks, swimming pools, sports courts and shared recreational spaces. The townhouses were released for sale earlier this week, while a limited number of premium villas will be launched in a future phase.
Following the sell-out of the townhouses, Aldar said it will soon release a limited collection of 20 premium villas, offering larger homes within the established Yas Acres community. The company expects these homes to cater to families seeking more spacious residences on Yas Island.
Yas Acres has been one of Aldar's key residential developments since its earlier phases were launched, benefiting from ongoing investment across Yas Island in infrastructure, education, hospitality and entertainment. The community is centred around Yas Acres Golf & Country Club and offers convenient access to attractions such as Yas Mall, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, making it one of Abu Dhabi's sought-after residential destinations.
