District by Zomato has entered into a strategic partnership with PadelPark India to integrate bookings for the latter's padel courts onto its platform, aiming to simplify access to the rapidly growing sport. Announced on June 25, the collaboration covers 11 7Padel facilities across Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune, enabling users to discover venues and reserve courts through the District app. The partnership comes amid increasing interest in padel as a recreational and fitness activity in urban India, with both companies seeking to improve accessibility and encourage wider participation. The collaboration also reflects the growing convergence of digital platforms and sports infrastructure as operators look to streamline customer experiences and support the expansion of organised recreational sports.

District by Zomato has partnered with PadelPark India to bring bookings for the company's padel courts onto its platform, marking a strategic move to simplify access to one of India's fastest-growing recreational sports. The collaboration, announced on June 25, enables users to discover padel venues and reserve court slots directly through the District app.
The integration covers 11 7Padel premium facilities operated by PadelPark India across Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune, allowing players to access real-time booking services through a single platform. According to the companies, the partnership is intended to improve the overall customer experience by reducing friction in the booking process while increasing the visibility of organised padel facilities.
The collaboration comes as padel continues to gain popularity across urban India, evolving from a niche sporting activity into a mainstream recreational and fitness option. Rising consumer interest in social sports, wellness-focused lifestyles and community-based activities has contributed to increasing demand for organised padel infrastructure across major cities.
District by Zomato said the partnership aligns with its strategy of expanding its portfolio of experiences beyond dining and entertainment by integrating sports and recreational activities into its platform. By bringing PadelPark India's facilities onto the app, the company aims to make venue discovery and booking more convenient for both existing players and first-time users.
Commenting on the partnership, Rahul Ganjoo, Chief Executive Officer of District by Zomato, said the collaboration extends beyond providing a booking platform. He stated that the objective is to build digital infrastructure that connects sports venues with players while simplifying access to organised recreational experiences.
Jigar Doshi, Co-Founder of PadelPark India, said the sport is witnessing increasing adoption as more consumers seek active, social and immersive leisure experiences. He added that integrating with District would enable the company to reach a broader audience while introducing more people to the sport and its community-driven nature.
PadelPark India describes itself as the country's largest integrated padel ecosystem, offering infrastructure and services around the sport. The company has been expanding its network of premium courts as participation continues to grow across metropolitan markets.
District by Zomato operates as a consumer platform offering access to experiences across dining, concerts, movies, events, sports and shopping. The addition of padel bookings reflects the increasing integration of digital consumer platforms with organised sports infrastructure as operators seek to improve accessibility and drive participation across emerging recreational segments.
