Casagrand Commercial, the commercial real estate division of Casagrand Group, has entered the Coimbatore office market with the launch of Casagrand Crown, its first commercial project in the city. Announced on June 24, the development is located on Avinashi Road and offers around 1 lakh sq. ft. of Grade A office space targeted at IT and ITES companies, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), startups, co-working operators and corporate occupiers. The project has been fully pre-leased to IndiQube, highlighting sustained occupier demand for institutional-quality office space in Coimbatore. The launch forms part of Casagrand Commercial's expansion strategy following the establishment of its commercial business in 2023 and adds to a growing portfolio of office and retail developments spanning more than 4 million sq. ft. across southern India.
Casagrand Commercial, the commercial real estate arm of Casagrand Group, has expanded its footprint into Coimbatore with the launch of Casagrand Crown, its first commercial development in the city. Announced on June 24, the project is located on Avinashi Road, one of Coimbatore's established commercial corridors, and has been developed to meet growing demand for institutional-grade office space from technology companies and corporate occupiers.
The development comprises approximately 1 lakh sq. ft. of premium office space designed for a range of occupiers, including IT and ITES companies, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), startups, co-working operators and large corporate organisations. According to the company, the entire office development has already been pre-leased to IndiQube, indicating continued demand for professionally managed commercial assets in Coimbatore's office market.
Casagrand Crown has been planned as a modern workplace development with infrastructure intended to support contemporary office requirements. The project incorporates efficient floor plates, contemporary architectural design, sustainable building infrastructure, a shared cafeteria and employee-focused amenities. The development also benefits from connectivity to key transport infrastructure, including Coimbatore International Airport, the city's railway station and major residential and commercial districts, making it accessible for businesses and employees.
The company said its decision to enter Coimbatore reflects the city's growing importance as a commercial destination in southern India, supported by increasing demand for quality office infrastructure from both domestic businesses and multinational occupiers. The launch also aligns with Casagrand Commercial's broader strategy of expanding its commercial real estate portfolio across high-growth urban markets.
Commenting on the development, Siva Sankar Reddy, Deputy Managing Director of Casagrand Group Ventures, said the company viewed Coimbatore as one of South India's promising business destinations, supported by strong economic fundamentals and rising demand for organised commercial developments. He stated that since the launch of Casagrand Commercial in 2023, the business has established a portfolio of office and retail assets, and with Casagrand Crown, it aims to create a future-ready office environment that addresses evolving workplace requirements while contributing to the city's commercial development.
Since commencing operations in 2023, Casagrand Commercial has developed a portfolio exceeding 4 million sq. ft. across office and retail assets. Its projects include Casagrand Ecotech at Sholinganallur with 6 lakh sq. ft., Casagrand Astute at Nandambakkam spanning 3.2 lakh sq. ft., Casagrand The Paragon on Radial Road with 3.6 lakh sq. ft., Casagrand Bizpark at Sholinganallur and Casagrand Skytech at Perungudi, each comprising around 1 million sq. ft., as well as Casagrand Connect, a 1.6 lakh sq. ft. retail development at Ambattur in Chennai.
The addition of Casagrand Crown marks the company's first commercial investment in Coimbatore and expands its presence beyond Chennai, reinforcing its strategy of developing office and retail assets across emerging business centres in South India.
