Synopsis

Gujarat-based Solex Energy has secured a solar module supply order worth INR 628.37 crore from an international renewable energy group with operations across multiple countries. Announced in the past week, the contract covers the supply of N-Type TOPCon G12R glass-to-glass solar photovoltaic (PV) modules with power ratings of 615 Wp and 620 Wp. The order value includes all applicable duties and taxes. The latest contract strengthens Solex Energy's order book as demand for high-efficiency solar modules continues to grow in domestic and international renewable energy markets. The company is one of India's established manufacturers of solar PV modules, with manufacturing operations based in Gujarat.

Gujarat-based Solex Energy has secured a solar module supply contract valued at INR 628.37 crore from a renewable energy group with an established presence across multiple international markets. The company disclosed the order in a stock exchange filing in the past week.
According to the filing, the contract involves the supply of N-Type TOPCon G12R glass-to-glass solar photovoltaic (PV) modules with power ratings of 615 Wp and 620 Wp. The total contract value of INR 628.37 crore includes all applicable duties and taxes.
While Solex Energy did not disclose the identity of the customer, it stated that the order has been awarded by a renewable energy group with operations spanning several countries, reflecting the company's continued participation in large-scale solar energy projects.
The modules to be supplied under the agreement utilise N-Type TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology, which is widely adopted in the solar industry for its higher efficiency, improved energy yield and enhanced long-term performance compared with conventional photovoltaic technologies. The glass-to-glass module design also offers increased durability and protection against environmental conditions.
The latest order adds to Solex Energy's order pipeline as demand for high-efficiency solar modules continues to increase across utility-scale and commercial renewable energy projects. Growing investments in clean energy infrastructure, coupled with the expansion of solar generation capacity, have supported demand for advanced photovoltaic technologies in both domestic and international markets.
Headquartered in Gujarat, Solex Energy is an established manufacturer of solar PV modules and supplies products for a range of renewable energy applications. The company continues to expand its presence in the solar manufacturing sector through orders from developers and renewable energy companies operating across multiple geographies.
The new contract is expected to contribute to the company's execution pipeline as it continues supplying solar modules to support the deployment of renewable energy projects.
