Interarch Building Solutions Ltd has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Kheda, Gujarat, expanding its production network as demand for steel construction solutions continues to grow across industrial and infrastructure sectors. The facility was inaugurated in the past week as part of the company's long-term manufacturing expansion strategy.
Spread across nearly 12 acres, the new plant has been developed with an initial investment of INR 60 crore and adds 20,000 metric tonnes (MT) of annual manufacturing capacity to the company's operations. The facility is designed to manufacture steel construction components for projects across industrial, commercial and infrastructure segments.
The company has also outlined plans for a second phase of development, which will contribute an additional 20,000 MT per annum of production capacity. Once completed, the Kheda facility will have a total installed manufacturing capacity of 40,000 MT annually.
According to Interarch, the combined investment across both phases of the project is expected to reach approximately INR 70 crore, reflecting the company's continued investment in expanding its manufacturing footprint across India.
The facility is expected to generate more than 400 direct and indirect employment opportunities, supporting industrial development and economic activity in Gujarat. The company said the project will contribute to the state's manufacturing ecosystem while strengthening domestic production capacity for steel construction systems.
Commenting on the development, Arvind Nanda, Managing Director of Interarch Building Solutions Ltd, said the commissioning of the Kheda plant comes at a time when demand for sustainable, high-quality and time-efficient steel construction solutions is increasing across the country. He added that the additional manufacturing capacity will enable the company to better serve customers and support future business growth.
Interarch Building Solutions is one of India's established providers of turnkey steel construction solutions, offering design, engineering, manufacturing and project execution services for industrial buildings, warehouses, logistics facilities, commercial developments and other steel structures.
The commissioning of the Kheda facility forms part of the company's broader expansion strategy to strengthen production capabilities and improve its ability to cater to growing demand for prefabricated steel buildings and structural systems across India's construction and infrastructure sectors.
