The Delhi Traffic Police has launched a month-long road safety campaign aimed at encouraging safer road behaviour and strengthening public awareness about traffic regulations across the national capital. The initiative combines enforcement with education and community outreach, reflecting the department's strategy of reducing road accidents through greater public participation rather than relying solely on penalties.
The campaign will be conducted across different parts of Delhi through a series of awareness programmes designed to reach motorists, pedestrians, students and commercial vehicle operators. Traffic personnel will organise educational sessions, interactive workshops, street plays and public outreach activities to highlight the importance of following traffic rules and adopting responsible road practices.
