Hexaware Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with US-based rental housing technology provider SmartRent Inc. to implement AI-led customer support, revenue management and sales process automation. The collaboration will focus on three areas: AI-enabled customer experience, an intelligent bill-to-cash platform and deployment of Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced. According to the companies, the initiative is intended to improve customer support, streamline revenue operations and enhance sales efficiency through automation and AI-powered workflows. The partnership reflects the growing adoption of artificial intelligence and cloud technologies within the rental housing technology sector to improve operational performance and customer engagement.

Hexaware Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with SmartRent Inc., a technology provider serving apartment communities and the rental housing sector, to implement artificial intelligence-driven customer support and revenue management solutions across the company's operations.
The collaboration will focus on three connected workstreams covering customer experience, financial operations and sales process transformation through AI-enabled technologies and cloud-based platforms.
As part of the partnership, Hexaware will support SmartRent in modernising its customer service operations by deploying Voice AI agents alongside intelligent orchestration across voice, email and chat channels. The companies said the platform is designed to improve customer interactions while enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.
The second component of the partnership involves the deployment of an intelligent bill-to-cash platform. Hexaware will implement and manage a technology suite that integrates data, operational insights and workflow automation to support billing, collections and revenue management processes. According to the company, the platform aims to improve revenue operations and reduce the time taken to convert receivables into cash.
The partnership also includes the implementation of Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced to modernise SmartRent's lead-to-order process. The cloud-based system is expected to automate quotation workflows, strengthen pricing governance and provide a consolidated view of the company's revenue pipeline while improving overall operational efficiency.
Eravi Gopan, President and Global Head – Technology, Products and Platforms at Hexaware, said organisations are increasingly seeking operating models that combine artificial intelligence, technology, business processes and workforce capabilities to improve operational performance and customer experience. He added that the collaboration with SmartRent is intended to support these objectives through AI-native business transformation.
Suresh Kumar Bennet, Executive Vice President and Global Head – Business Process Services at Hexaware, said the company would combine domain expertise with AI technologies, enterprise systems, data integration and workflow redesign to create an adaptive operations platform capable of improving customer interactions and supporting revenue growth.
Frank Martell, President and Chief Executive Officer of SmartRent, said the partnership would strengthen the company's technology platform and operational capabilities to support customer service at scale.
The collaboration reflects the increasing adoption of AI, cloud-based enterprise applications and workflow automation across the property technology sector, where residential operators and technology providers are investing in digital platforms to improve customer engagement, operational efficiency and revenue management.
