Synopsis

Nestle Business Solutions (NBS) has announced the establishment of a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad in partnership with Genpact. The new centre will support Nestle's global operations by leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics and digital technologies. It will operate under Nestle Business Services India Private Limited and strengthen the company's global business support capabilities. The initiative also reinforces Hyderabad's position as a preferred destination for multinational companies establishing Global Capability Centres in India.

Nestle Business Solutions (NBS), the global shared services arm of Nestle, has announced the establishment of a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad in partnership with professional services firm Genpact. The new facility will operate under Nestle Business Services India Private Limited and will support the company's global business operations through technology-driven services.
The Hyderabad GCC will focus on delivering business support functions by integrating artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics and digital technologies into Nestle's global operations. The centre is expected to help simplify processes, improve operational efficiency and support the company's long-term digital transformation strategy across international markets.
Under the partnership, Genpact will provide expertise in process management, automation and advanced analytics to help strengthen the GCC's capabilities. The collaboration aims to develop technology-enabled business services that improve productivity and support decision-making across Nestle's worldwide operations.
While the companies have not disclosed the financial investment or the number of jobs to be created, the new GCC is expected to play an important role in supporting Nestle's global service delivery network. The facility will manage a range of business functions that contribute to the company's operations across multiple geographies.
Hyderabad was selected because of its established technology ecosystem, availability of skilled professionals and growing concentration of multinational Global Capability Centres. The city has attracted investments from companies across technology, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and financial services, making it one of India's leading destinations for global business operations.
The announcement reflects the increasing preference among multinational corporations to expand their Global Capability Centre footprint in India. Companies are increasingly using GCCs not only for back-office operations but also for technology development, data analytics, digital transformation, finance, procurement, human resources and other high-value business functions.
Industry experts note that India's large talent pool, digital infrastructure and competitive operating environment continue to make the country an attractive location for multinational companies seeking to centralise global operations. Hyderabad, in particular, has emerged as a major GCC hub due to its strong infrastructure, business-friendly ecosystem and availability of specialised talent.
For Nestle, the new GCC is expected to enhance operational efficiency while enabling greater use of digital technologies across its global business functions. The partnership with Genpact will support the company's efforts to build scalable and technology-enabled service capabilities that can respond to evolving business requirements.
The establishment of the Hyderabad centre further strengthens India's position as a global hub for multinational Global Capability Centres. It also highlights the continued growth of Hyderabad's commercial office market, supported by sustained demand from global companies expanding their technology and business service operations in the country.
