CTP has expanded its logistics portfolio by opening an 11,500 sqm distribution centre at CTPark Ceska Lípa in the Czech Republic for Saint-Gobain’s Sekurit Service. The new facility will serve as a central hub for distributing replacement auto glass across Europe, helping improve delivery efficiency and reduce supply times. The development strengthens CTP's presence in the European logistics real estate market while supporting Saint-Gobain's supply chain with better connectivity to manufacturing sites, warehouses and key automotive markets across the region.
CTP has opened a new 11,500 sqm distribution centre at CTPark Ceska Lípa in the Czech Republic for Saint-Gobain's Sekurit Service, strengthening the company's logistics infrastructure for replacement auto glass deliveries across Europe. The facility will function as a strategic distribution hub, supplying Saint-Gobain's distribution centres throughout the continent.
The new centre will support Saint-Gobain's supply chain by receiving finished products from its manufacturing facilities, mainly located in Eastern Europe, before packaging and dispatching them to warehouses across individual European countries. From there, the products will be delivered to end customers. The facility is expected to reduce delivery times, improve supply chain management and make the movement of goods between production sites and distribution centres more efficient.
According to Sekurit Service General Manager Petr Lhotak, the new distribution centre is a strategic step towards improving the company's auto glass deliveries across Europe. He said the additional capacity would allow the company to consolidate shipments from its production facilities and distribute them more efficiently across European markets. He also noted that CTPark Ceska Lípa was selected because of its strategic location, accessibility and proximity to both manufacturing plants and distribution warehouses.
The location was chosen due to Ceska Lípa's strong automotive ecosystem and its connectivity to major European transport corridors. The park is positioned near routes leading to Germany and Poland, with easy access to cities including Dresden, Wrocaw and Liberec. It is also located less than 40 minutes from Mladá Boleslav, home to Škoda Auto. The region offers a skilled workforce that supports both manufacturing and logistics operations.
CTPark Ceska Lípa currently spans around 38,000 sqm and houses several automotive-related businesses, with additional land available for future expansion. CTP, one of Europe's largest listed developers, owners and managers of logistics and industrial real estate by gross lettable area, has continued expanding its portfolio across Central and Eastern Europe through new logistics parks and tenant-led developments to meet growing demand for modern industrial space.
