Trianon signs five-year lease with Cervera at Burlov Center

Swedish real estate company Trianon has signed a five-year lease agreement with home and kitchen retailer Cervera for a 400-square metre store at Burlov Center, located north of Malmö. The new outlet is expected to open later this year, taking the shopping centre's occupancy level to 94%. The agreement marks another step in Trianon's ongoing repositioning of Burlov Center, which has witnessed several new leasing deals and retail additions in recent years as part of a wider mixed-use redevelopment plan.

Swedish property company Trianon has entered into a five-year lease agreement with home and kitchen products retailer Cervera for a new 400-square metre store at Burlov Center, a retail destination located north of Malmö. The store is scheduled to open later this year following the handover of the premises. 
With this agreement, Burlov Center's occupancy rate has increased to 94%, reflecting continued leasing activity at the shopping centre. Cervera's return also adds to the centre's retail offering, which has been strengthened over the past few years through the addition of several national brands and service providers. 
Trianon and Wallfast jointly own Burlov Center through a 50:50 partnership. Since acquiring the property, the companies have focused on repositioning the asset by expanding its mix of retail, grocery and community services. The centre today houses retailers such as Clas Ohlson, Hemtex, Willys, ICA Maxi, Lindex, Kicks and Normal, alongside healthcare and other essential services. 
The retail centre is also part of a broader urban development project with the potential to deliver more than 1,000 residential units in the surrounding area. Earlier this year, the partners completed the Hanna residential project, comprising 111 apartments adjacent to Burlöv Center and Burlov railway station, further supporting the area's long-term development.
