The long awaited extension of the Mrinaltai Gore flyover in Mumbai is set to open on June 6, marking a key infrastructure addition aimed at improving traffic flow in the western suburbs. The flyover extension has been developed as part of ongoing efforts to decongest road networks in western Mumbai, where rising residential and commercial activity has led to increased traffic pressure over the years. Authorities believe the upgraded stretch will help distribute traffic more efficiently and reduce bottlenecks that have persisted during peak commuting hours.
