Synopsis

AFC Furniture Solutions has announced plans to expand its operations across Karnataka as growing demand from Global Capability Centres (GCCs), technology companies and commercial real estate developments continues to reshape workplace requirements in the state. The company is targeting 30% revenue growth in FY 2026-27, with Karnataka expected to play a central role in its expansion strategy. The move comes as Bengaluru remains India’s largest office market, supported by strong absorption of Grade-A office space and increasing occupier demand from technology, fintech and AI-driven firms. AFC plans to strengthen its presence through enhanced project execution capabilities, expanded design consultancy services and deeper partnerships with developers and corporate occupiers across Bengaluru and other emerging business centres.

AFC Furniture Solutions has outlined an aggressive expansion strategy for Karnataka, citing the state’s growing commercial real estate market and the continued expansion of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and technology-led enterprises as key drivers of demand for modern workplace infrastructure.
The company announced that it is targeting 30% revenue growth in FY 2026-27, with Karnataka positioned as a major contributor to its national growth roadmap. The strategy is centred on meeting rising demand for technology-enabled and future-ready office environments across Bengaluru and emerging business corridors within the state.
Karnataka currently accounts for an estimated 25-30% of India’s Grade-A office stock, while Bengaluru remains the country’s leading office market. Industry estimates indicate that office space absorption in Bengaluru has exceeded 16 million sq. ft. in recent years and could surpass 18 million sq. ft. by the end of 2026. Demand is being driven by expanding GCC operations, artificial intelligence-focused enterprises, fintech companies and large technology occupiers, alongside infrastructure-led growth in locations such as the Outer Ring Road corridor, Bengaluru Signature Business Park and Devanahalli, and KHIR City.
Maanoj Tomar, Founder of AFC Furniture Solutions, stated that the company has aligned its business strategy with the ongoing transformation of workplace infrastructure across the country. He said AFC aims to position its ergonomic and sustainable workspace solutions at the centre of evolving office requirements as occupiers increasingly seek globally benchmarked workplace environments.
The company has recently delivered projects for several corporate occupiers across Karnataka. These include furnishing a 5 lakh sq. ft. corporate office for HDFC in Bengaluru and providing ergonomic workstation solutions for Honda’s 1.2 lakh sq. ft. facility in the city. AFC has also undertaken workplace projects for managed office operators and flexible workspace providers, including IndiQube and WeWork, while delivering office interiors for Vertex service centres and Grade-A fit-outs for TableSpace across multiple Bengaluru locations spanning more than 3 lakh sq. ft.
As part of its expansion plans, AFC intends to strengthen project execution capabilities, increase workforce deployment and expand design consultancy support across Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi and Mangaluru. The company also plans to deepen collaboration with developers, architects and corporate occupiers to address growing demand for premium office interiors.
Tomar noted that the scale of expansion by GCCs and technology firms in Karnataka has altered expectations around workplace design, with occupiers increasingly focusing on productivity, employee wellbeing and sustainability. He added that AFC’s investments in the state reflect confidence in Karnataka’s long-term role as a centre for workplace innovation.
Industry trends indicate a growing preference for experiential workplaces, wellness-oriented office design and ESG-compliant infrastructure as organisations encourage employees to return to physical offices. Demand is also increasing for modular workplace systems, Internet of Things-enabled solutions and low-emission office infrastructure, particularly within Bengaluru’s premium technology parks.
AFC said it is supporting these requirements through sustainable manufacturing and recyclable product ecosystems. The company highlighted its contribution to the furnishing of Noida International Airport, where it deployed more than 6,000 low-emission furniture systems across nearly 1 lakh sq. m. of terminal and back-office space. According to the company, the systems achieved a recyclability rate of 66% and a cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of 115.43 kg CO2e per workstation.
The Karnataka expansion aligns with AFC’s broader manufacturing and sustainability objectives. The company operates a 4 lakh sq. ft. IGBC Gold-rated manufacturing facility with a monthly production capacity exceeding 18,000 workstations and ergonomic seating systems. AFC stated that it intends to leverage Karnataka’s commercial real estate growth to scale sustainable workplace solutions across India while strengthening its position in the office interiors and workspace infrastructure segment.
