PDS, a global fashion solutions and infrastructure company, has been recognised as a Great Place to Work across 10 countries, reflecting the group's emphasis on employee engagement, workplace culture and organisational development. The certification covers operations in India, Hong Kong, Germany, China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the UK, Turkiye, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Announced on June 2, the recognition is based on direct employee feedback and follows a workplace assessment process that recorded close to 90% participation across the surveyed locations. According to the company, the results indicate high levels of employee engagement, trust and confidence in the organisation's culture and leadership.
PDS stated that its workforce spans multiple geographies and cultures, making people development a central component of its long-term growth strategy. The company views organisational culture as a key factor in supporting collaboration, innovation and operational effectiveness across its international business network.
The group has implemented a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening employee experience and professional development. These include employee engagement platforms, leadership development programmes, recognition and reward mechanisms, wellbeing interventions and communication forums designed to encourage transparency and collaboration across teams.
According to the company, these initiatives are intended to create a workplace environment where employees feel valued, respected and supported in their professional growth. The organisation said it remains focused on fostering an inclusive culture that enables individuals to contribute effectively while pursuing career development opportunities.
Commenting on the certification, Pallak Seth, Executive Vice Chairman of PDS, stated that the recognition reflects the contribution of employees across the organisation and the culture they help create. He noted that as the company continues to expand globally, it remains committed to strengthening workplace standards and ensuring employees feel supported, inspired and empowered.
Sanjay Jain, Group Chief Executive Officer, said the certification validates the company's belief that empowering employees and creating opportunities for growth contributes to stronger outcomes for both the business and its stakeholders. He added that building a culture based on trust, inclusion and continuous development remains an ongoing priority for the organisation.
The Great Place to Work certification is recognised internationally as a workplace culture benchmark and is awarded based on employee feedback and a research-driven evaluation framework. The assessment measures workplace factors including trust in management, pride in work and camaraderie among employees, providing an independent evaluation of organisational culture and employee experience.
For PDS, the certification across 10 countries highlights the company's efforts to maintain consistent workplace standards across its global operations while supporting employee engagement and talent development as part of its broader business strategy.
