Synopsis

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of award worth approximately INR 2,002 crore across its core business verticals. The contracts include power transmission and distribution projects in international markets, building and factory projects within India, and a railway sector order. The latest wins strengthen the company’s presence in key overseas regions, particularly the Middle East and Nordic countries, while also expanding its domestic order book. The development reflects continued demand across infrastructure segments where KPIL operates, including power, urban mobility, railways and industrial construction. The company currently executes projects in more than 30 countries and maintains a footprint across 75 countries globally.

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) announced on Monday that it, along with its international subsidiaries, has secured new orders and notifications of award valued at around INR 2,002 crore across multiple infrastructure business segments in India and overseas markets.
The newly secured contracts span the company’s Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D), Buildings and Factories (B&F), and Railways businesses. According to the company, the orders include transmission and distribution projects in international markets, building and factory construction assignments within India, and a railway sector contract.
The order wins add to KPIL’s existing project pipeline and strengthen its presence across sectors that continue to witness infrastructure investment and development activity. The company did not disclose the names of clients or specific project locations associated with the newly awarded contracts.
In the international T&D segment, the contracts further expand KPIL’s operations in the Middle East and Nordic regions, which the company identified as key growth markets. The company indicated that these project wins reinforce its position in these geographies as demand for power infrastructure continues to support investment across transmission networks and related facilities.
Within the domestic market, KPIL secured additional orders in its Buildings and Factories business. The company stated that these were repeat orders from existing clients, reflecting continued engagement with customers across industrial and construction-related projects.
The company has also strengthened its presence in the rail infrastructure sector through a new railway contract. According to management, the latest award enhances its footprint in the metro rail segment, which remains an important part of the country's urban transport development programme.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Manish Mohnot said the transmission and distribution contracts would reinforce the company’s position across high-growth markets in the Middle East and the Nordics. He added that the Buildings and Factories business had continued its momentum through repeat orders from existing clients, while the railway contract expanded the company’s involvement in metro rail projects. Mohnot further expressed confidence in the growth prospects of the company’s various business segments.
KPIL is among India’s specialised engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies and operates across a diversified infrastructure portfolio. Its business interests include power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and irrigation, railways, oil and gas pipelines, urban mobility projects such as flyovers and metro rail systems, highways, and airports.
The company currently executes projects in more than 30 countries and maintains a global presence across 75 countries, reflecting its broad international footprint in infrastructure development and construction services.
