Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has opened its first Experience Centre in Hyderabad, marking its fifth customer-facing facility in India. The new centre allows visitors to explore the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and Model Y L through guided product demonstrations and interactive vehicle experiences. Alongside the showroom launch, Tesla has commenced vehicle delivery and after-sales operations from its facility in the Bollaram Industrial Area near Hyderabad. The facility will cater to customers across Telangana and forms part of the company’s expanding direct-to-consumer network in India. With existing Experience Centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram, the Hyderabad opening further strengthens Tesla’s physical presence in one of the country’s key technology and automotive markets.
Tesla has inaugurated its first Experience Centre in Hyderabad, expanding its retail footprint in India and establishing its fifth customer-facing facility in the country. The new centre was opened on Wednesday and will serve as a key touchpoint for customers in Telangana seeking to explore the company’s electric vehicle portfolio and ownership ecosystem.
According to the company, visitors to the Hyderabad Experience Centre will be able to view and interact with the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model Y L. The facility has been designed to provide prospective customers with guided vehicle walkarounds and product demonstrations led by Tesla Advisors.
The company stated that the centre offers an immersive environment where visitors can gain insights into Tesla’s vehicle design approach, electric mobility technology, safety systems and performance features. The interactive format is intended to provide customers with a detailed understanding of the brand’s products before making a purchase decision.
Alongside the retail expansion, Tesla has also commenced delivery and after-sales operations from its facility in the Bollaram Industrial Area near Hyderabad. The service and delivery centre will support customers across Telangana and is expected to play a key role in the company’s efforts to build a direct-to-consumer ownership experience in the region.
The launch represents another step in Tesla’s gradual expansion within the Indian market. By integrating vehicle display, customer engagement, delivery and after-sales support, the company aims to create a streamlined ownership journey without relying on traditional dealership networks.
Hyderabad has emerged as an important destination for automotive and technology investments in recent years, supported by its growing urban population, strong technology ecosystem and improving infrastructure. The city is also witnessing increased adoption of electric mobility solutions as governments and businesses promote cleaner transportation alternatives.
With the opening of the Hyderabad facility, Tesla now operates Experience Centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram in addition to the newly launched outlet. These centres serve as the company’s primary customer engagement platforms, allowing potential buyers to interact directly with Tesla products and representatives.
The expansion comes as global electric vehicle manufacturers continue to strengthen their presence in India amid growing interest in premium electric mobility. Industry participants have increasingly focused on establishing physical retail and service infrastructure to support customer adoption and improve ownership experiences in key metropolitan markets.
For Tesla, the Hyderabad launch extends its reach into one of southern India’s largest urban centres while providing a dedicated platform for vehicle sales, customer education, deliveries and after-sales support across Telangana.
