Realty firm TDI Infratech Ltd has announced plans to invest around INR 75 crore to develop a luxury hotel in Panipat, Haryana, as part of its mixed-use project, TDI Connaught Estate. The company also confirmed that it has partnered with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to manage the hospitality project, which is scheduled to become operational in the second quarter of 2028.
According to the company, it has signed an agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for the management of the upcoming 53-key hotel. The property will be developed within the TDI Connaught Estate project, integrating hospitality infrastructure into the broader mixed-use development.
The planned investment of approximately INR 75 crore reflects the company's expansion into the hospitality segment while complementing its existing real estate portfolio. The hotel is expected to operate under the Ramada by Wyndham brand, strengthening the presence of branded hospitality offerings in Panipat.
TDI Infratech Managing Director Akshay Taneja indicated that the investment demonstrates the company's long-term confidence in Panipat's evolving economic landscape. He stated that the addition of the Ramada by Wyndham hotel would strengthen the ecosystem at TDI Connaught Estate and aligns with the company's vision of delivering high-quality and future-ready infrastructure.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts also highlighted the growth potential of emerging markets across North India. Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director – Eurasia, said that Panipat and the wider Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in the region continue to present significant opportunities for the hospitality sector, supported by improving infrastructure, increasing commercial activity and rising demand for quality branded accommodation.
The collaboration brings together a real estate developer and a global hospitality operator at a time when several developers are incorporating hotels and serviced hospitality assets within integrated and mixed-use projects to diversify offerings and enhance destination value.
TDI Infratech has delivered more than 100 residential, commercial and retail projects across North India. The addition of the hotel at TDI Connaught Estate represents another component of the company's development strategy, with the project expected to expand the hospitality infrastructure in Panipat upon its planned opening in 2028.
