The Adani Group and US-based electronic components manufacturer Jabil Incorporated have announced a strategic alliance to establish a vertically integrated artificial intelligence and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India. The partnership aims to create multi-gigawatt manufacturing capacity for AI racks, servers, storage and networking systems, targeting a global market opportunity estimated at more than USD 3 trillion over the next seven years. The venture will combine Jabil's manufacturing expertise with Adani's infrastructure and green energy capabilities to serve both domestic and international markets while supporting India's expanding digital infrastructure ecosystem.
The Adani Group and Jabil Incorporated have announced a strategic alliance to establish a vertically integrated artificial intelligence (AI) and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India, aiming to produce large-scale AI-ready hardware for domestic and international markets.
The partnership, announced on Monday, seeks to create multi-gigawatt manufacturing capacities to meet growing global demand for digital infrastructure. By combining Jabil's manufacturing expertise with the Adani Group's infrastructure and industrial capabilities, the venture is designed to develop an end-to-end supply chain within India.
Under the proposed collaboration, the two companies will focus on manufacturing high-density AI racks, computing servers, storage systems and advanced networking equipment. The production ecosystem will also include critical supporting infrastructure such as power distribution units (PDUs), coolant distribution units (CDUs), transformers, switchgears, bus bars and specialised thermal management systems.
The partners said the initiative is intended to address a global infrastructure market opportunity estimated to exceed USD 3 trillion over the next seven years, driven by rising investments in artificial intelligence, advanced computing and digital infrastructure.
The announcement comes amid expectations of significant growth in India's data centre sector, with the country's data centre capacity projected to reach between 5 GW and 8 GW by 2030. Industry growth is being supported by increasing AI adoption, expansion of enterprise cloud services, data localisation requirements and investments by global hyperscale operators.
The companies noted that policy support, including fiscal and tax incentives for data centre development, continues to strengthen India's position as a destination for digital infrastructure investment and manufacturing. The operational structure and definitive legal agreements for the alliance are currently being finalised.
The collaboration also aligns with the Adani Group's previously announced objective of developing 5 GW of green energy-powered, AI-ready data centre capacity by 2035. For Florida-headquartered Jabil, which reported revenue of USD 29.8 billion in FY2025, the alliance represents a further expansion of its participation in the global AI and digital infrastructure value chain.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said the world was entering an intelligence revolution that could prove more transformative than previous industrial shifts. He stated that countries capable of integrating energy infrastructure and computing power would shape the next phase of global economic development. According to him, the partnership represents a step towards building a complete AI infrastructure stack in India, spanning renewable energy generation, data centres and advanced hardware manufacturing.
Jabil Chief Executive Officer Mike Dastoor said the collaboration would support the delivery of scalable infrastructure across the AI ecosystem. He noted that combining Jabil's engineering and manufacturing experience with Adani's infrastructure and energy platform would enable the development of integrated solutions for hyperscalers and enterprise customers. He added that India's skilled workforce and stable business environment continue to make the country an attractive market for AI-related investments and deployment.
