Unicorn Infosolutions, Apple’s largest premium retail and service partner in India, has announced plans to expand its network from 100 to 150 stores over the next three years, driven by growing demand for Apple products across smaller cities. The company expects its revenue to rise from INR 3,700 crore in FY2025-26 to between INR 5,500 crore and INR 6,000 crore during the expansion period. Having opened its 100th store in Gurugram, Unicorn is focusing on tier-III and tier-IV markets, where physical access to Apple product demonstrations and after-sales services remains limited. The retailer currently operates across 49 cities in nine states and expects new product categories, including entry-level Mac offerings, alongside financing options such as equated monthly instalments (EMIs), to support future growth.
Unicorn Infosolutions, Apple’s largest premium retail and service partner in India, plans to open 50 additional stores over the next three years and increase its revenue to between INR 5,500 crore and INR 6,000 crore, following the inauguration of its 100th outlet in Gurugram in the past week. The company said the expansion will be driven by strong consumer demand for Apple products, particularly in tier-III and tier-IV cities, where access to physical retail stores and product demonstrations has historically been limited.
Speaking at the launch of the company’s 100th store, Director Baljinder Paul Singh said customer acquisition continued to remain strong and consumer aspirations to own Apple products had not weakened despite rising memory chip prices. He noted that significant opportunities exist in smaller cities where many consumers have previously relied primarily on online channels and have had limited opportunities to experience Apple products in person.
Founded with its first single-brand Apple store in Ahmedabad in 2006, Unicorn has steadily expanded its presence across northern and western India. The company currently operates in 49 cities across nine states and has become the first Apple sales and service partner in the country to reach the milestone of 100 stores.
The retailer reported revenue of INR 3,700 crore during FY2025-26 and expects continued investments in its retail and service infrastructure to support the next phase of growth. Singh stated that the company aims to strengthen its leadership position in Apple retailing by expanding its footprint to 150 stores within three years while significantly increasing turnover.
According to the company, annual business growth has remained in the range of 15–20 per cent. However, management expects growth to accelerate as it enters additional markets and benefits from expanding product categories within Apple’s portfolio.
Singh indicated that newer Mac product offerings have widened the addressable customer base for Apple computers, particularly among students seeking entry-level devices. He said the company sees substantial opportunities in this segment as more consumers consider Apple products for education and personal use.
Of Unicorn’s current 100 stores, 47 are located in North India and 53 in western markets. The portfolio comprises 31 outlets situated within shopping malls, while the remaining 69 stores operate in high-street locations.
The company believes that demand in smaller cities remains underpenetrated, largely because consumers in those markets have had fewer opportunities to access product demonstrations, sales support and after-sales services. Singh said customer response has been encouraging whenever the company establishes integrated sales and service facilities in these locations.
He added that financing options offered through Unicorn stores have also contributed to customer interest. Affordable EMI schemes and loan tenures of up to 24 months have made premium Apple devices more accessible, supporting continued demand for products such as iPhones and Mac computers across a broader consumer base.
