Synopsis

Interior My Room by Rawat has launched its third studio in Kharadi, Pune, expanding its retail and customer engagement network in one of the city’s key residential and commercial corridors. The company, which specialises in customised furniture and interior solutions, has delivered more than 10,000 modular kitchens and over 1 crore sq ft of furniture since its inception. The new studio complements its existing facilities in Bavdhan and on the Pune–Bengaluru Highway, where it also operates a 1 lakh sq ft manufacturing unit. The expansion comes as demand for customised interiors and modular furniture continues to grow across residential developments in Pune and other urban markets.

Interior My Room by Rawat has expanded its presence in Pune with the launch of a new studio in Kharadi, strengthening its footprint in one of the city’s fastest-growing residential and commercial locations.
The newly opened facility marks the company’s third studio in Pune and forms part of its broader strategy to increase customer accessibility while showcasing its range of customised furniture and interior solutions. The launch follows the company's growth since its establishment in 2020 and comes amid rising demand for personalised home interiors and modular furniture across urban housing markets.
The Kharadi studio joins Interior My Room’s existing factory-cum-showroom on the Pune–Bengaluru Highway and its studio in Bavdhan. According to the company, the new facility has been designed as an experience centre where customers can explore a range of modular kitchens, wardrobes, customised furniture and interior design concepts across various styles, finishes and configurations.
The company stated that it has delivered more than 10,000 customised modular kitchens and over 1 crore sq ft of furniture to date. Its manufacturing operations are supported by a 1 lakh sq ft production facility located along the Pune–Bengaluru Highway.
The facility is equipped with German and Italian machinery sourced from manufacturers including Burkle, Biesse, Felder, Holzher and Homag. The company said the plant has the capacity to process more than 10,000 sq ft of panels daily and operates through a hub-and-spoke model serving both business-to-business and direct consumer segments.
Founded by Amey Achuthan, Jayashree Rawat Amey, Mukta Sarkar and Tejashree Rawat, the company has focused on customised furniture and interior solutions for residential, institutional and commercial clients. Over the years, it has developed partnerships with developers, educational institutions and corporate clients across Maharashtra.
Mukta Sarkar, Director of Interior My Room, said the company’s design philosophy centres on creating spaces that reflect the lifestyle and preferences of homeowners while balancing aesthetics and functionality. She noted that the launch of the Kharadi studio would enable the company to engage more closely with customers and provide customised design solutions tailored to individual requirements.
The company was among the early adopters of customised modular furniture technology in India and has worked with several organisations, including Godrej Properties, Amanora Park Town and Solitaire. It has also delivered projects for educational institutions such as Symbiosis International University and FLAME University, alongside corporate clients including Bajaj and Force Motors.
Interior My Room traces its origins to the Rawat family’s furniture business and has expanded into a full-service interior solutions provider. The launch of the Kharadi studio reflects the company’s efforts to strengthen its market presence in Pune, where growing residential development and increasing demand for customised living spaces continue to create opportunities for organised interior design and furniture companies.
